Artist intervention: seeking curious & passionate student volunteers

“How Clean Are your Clothes” are two public events happening on Tuesday 11th March (Student’s Guild) and Monday 17th March (Forum) at the University of Exeter, run by me, artist Catherine Cartwright.

I am seeking Curious and Passionate students for 2 hour shifts on those days, to enthuse, impassion and chat with students about where our clothes come from, and the issues surrounding the garment industry. Our challenge is to engage students to think about their clothes, and do this in a way that inspires positive action and not guilt-ridden apathy. Top Trumps is a must, as is searching out our ‘Made in Bangladesh’ labels and tweeting about both.

I wold love to have you involved. Contact me at catherine[at]catherinecartwright.co.uk and tell me which slot you can make:

Tuesday 11th March – We’ll be in the Student’s Guild

Monday 17th March – Taking place in the Forum

Time Slots: 10-12, 12-2, 2-4
